Pitch loves Milo's

Real deli sandwiches are what legends are made of.  And Columbus has one such Deli that sits atop all others - Milo's deli&cafe.

I discovered Milo's deli back in 2002/2003.  A great little NYC style deli off the beaten and tired restaurant path.  A deli cafe where you get to know the guys making the goods.  A place where the staff is happy and having fun in the open style kitchen/grill where you can shout out a 'hello', or a 'hey, I want that on Rye bread...'  Yeah, that's our kind of place.

Milo's offers an amazing assortment of classic deli sandwiches, from their in-house favorite creations to a huge array of fresh on-the-spot made side dishes and desserts.  Milo's will help you order a favorite, or allow you to request a personalized sandwich that makes you happy.  And with home-made hot from the pot soups and freshly made salads it's no wonder we are addicted.

You must try Milo's.  Once you've discovered this amazing place, you will be hooked.  We proudly announce Milo's with Pitch's GrandSlam.  Our choice for deli-sandwiches in Columbus.

Visit Milo's deli&cafe.  980 West Broad Street.  Columbus Ohio 43222 or find more information and Catering details at http://www.milosdeli.com/

Pitch takes a Road Trip

Pitch Columbus hits the road.  Great urban areas are defined by all their attractions, both within walking distance and nearby road trips.  Columbus, which is centrally located in Ohio enables you to experience all of Ohio -with a simple turn of the car key.

With a quick tap on our GPS Nav, Pitch finds itself near Toledo Ohio to an era that is Gone With The Wind.  Just outside Toledo Ohio is a Southern Georgian styled plantation mansion once home to the Stranahan's, a turn-of-the-century auto-barron family.

Built in 1938, for a mere $376,000.  Today, this home and property is the crown jewel for Ohio's Metroparks.  With miles and miles of scenic hiking trails, bird watching, deer spotting, picnics, and cross country skiing this is an outdoor adventures dream day trip.  The property in addition to the manor house also includes the original home's stables and care-taker's home which was built in 1897.

Pitch recommends this 2.5 hour road trip North, to anyone looking for an outdoor adventure or simply to take a stroll back in time for a little piece of Tara.
